ID 514580 - To Editorial: SBP 3D camera moves display incorrect animation when published to Avid (using PNG & 3D Warp option) or Premiere

Follow

Problem summary
Camera moves applied to a 3D environment in SBP will display incorrect animation when published to Premiere or Avid (using PNG & 3D Warp option) from Flix.

Customer reported version
Flix 6.4.0

Customer reported platform
CentOS 7

Steps to reproduce
Premiere:
1) In SBP, enable the 3D environment
2) Add camera move keyframes to at least one panel, which include movement on all axis
3) Import the SBP project to Flix
4) Publish to Premiere

Avid:
1) In SBP, enable the 3D environment
2) Add camera move keyframes to at least one panel, which include movement on all axis
3) Import the SBP project to Flix
4) Ensure the "Panels with Camera Move" option is set to use "PNG & 3D Warp"
5) Publish to Avid

Expected behaviour
Camera move animation in Editorial should be consistent with the animation that can be previewed in Flix

Actual behaviour
The 3D camera move animation is correct in Flix but not in Editorial. Depending on how big of a camera move there is, the clip may even just display black and the artwork cannot be seen.

Workaround
There is only a workaround if using Avid: under Preferences > Third Party Apps > Avid Media Composer set "Panels with Camera Move" to use "MOV". This does mean editors will not have access to the keyframes directly, but the camera move will be correct.
Unfortunately this option is not currently available for Premiere users.
