Steps to reproduce
 
1) Install Nuke<>Mari Bridge scripts to your .nuke folder - https://learn.foundry.com/mari/Content/nuke_mari_bridge/Bridge/installation.html 

2) Launch Mari and Nuke

3) Setup the Nuke<>Mari Bridge connection - https://learn.foundry.com/mari/Content/nuke_mari_bridge/Bridge/connection_setup.html 
 
4) Download the attached image
 
5) In Nuke, create a Read node and read in the downloaded image
 
6) Connect a Project3D node to the Read node
 
7) Connect a Card node to the Project3D node
 
8) Create a Camera node and connect it to the cam input of the Project3D node:
 


 
9) In the Card node properties, set z to 8
 
10) Select all 4 nodes and click Mari > Send > Projection Components
 
11) Click Yes in the first dialog, and OK in the second 
 
12) When the project loads in Mari, switch to Flat Lighting mode
 
Expected behaviour
The Projection's color in Mari should match Nuke.
 
Actual behaviour
The Projection's color in Mari is darker: 


 
Workaround
Creating a new Layer and running Project in the Projector's settings > Action > Project will result in the correct color.

Unable to reproduce bug in:
Nuke 12.2v5 - Mari 4.7v7 - Windows 10 - CentOS 7.9
 
 
Earliest version tested
Mari 4.7v7 - This issue doesn't appear in this version and has regressed
