Problem summary
When using a SplitTunnel VPN, the transfer utility (used by Flix to transfer files between server and client) will not use the native macOS DNS resolution, resulting in it not being able to resolve the Flix server hostname correctly.
Customer reported version
Flix 6.4.0
Customer reported platform
macOS 12
Steps to reproduce
1) Setup Flix server so it is accessible only via a SplitTunnel VPN
2) Login to the Flix client via the VPN
3) Import a supported image file to the Panel Browser
Expected behaviour
File uploads and panel is created
Actual behaviour
The file does not upload
Workaround
EITHER
Add the Flix server name and IP in the /etc/hosts file of the Client.
Each Flix user needing to go through VPN would have to go and do this locally.
OR
Configure the Flix server to require an IP for login, rather than hostname. Users would just need to receive the new login info, and use that, without making any changes locally.
