Render Turntable does not pick up "MARI_DEFAULT_RENDER_PATH" variable until the File Browser is opened

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Launch Mari

2) Run the following command in the Python Console, changing '/path/here' to the path to a writable folder:
 

mari.resources.setPath("MARI_DEFAULT_RENDER_PATH", "/path/here")

NOTE: This issue also occurs if you set a MARI_DEFAULT_RENDER_PATH environment variabe prior to launching Mari.

3) Open any project

4) Create a Projector

5) Right-click the Projector and select 'Render Turntable'

6) Check the Output > Path field - this will be set to the user's home directory

7) Click the File Browser icon next to the Path field

 
Expected behaviour
The Path field should use the folder set with MARI_DEFAULT_RENDER_PATH
 
Actual behaviour
The field shows the user's home directory, but the File Browser will open to the path set to MARI_DEFAULT_RENDER_PATH:
