ID 528082 - When using a remote connection to a machine running Katana and transforming an object beyond the point where your cursor leaves the viewer, it can cause the cursor and object to jump

Follow

Problem summary
When using a remote connection and transforming an object beyond the point where your cursor leaves the viewer, it can cause the cursor and object to jump. This behavior occurs intermittently and is more likely when using Katana through an unstable remote connection.

This appears to occur no matter the bounds set for the viewer, and does not at this time seem to occur locally.

Customer reported version

CentOS 7

Steps to reproduce

1) Connect to a machine via remote connection and open Katana.

2) Create a PrimitiveCreate node and set the render flag to the node.

3)  Expand the Scene Graph fully.

Expected behaviour
The object transforms smoothly outside the viewer.

Actual behaviour
The object transforms sporadically and jumps further away from the viewer.
