ID 522813 - EXR metadata defined with the renderSettings.metadata attribute is not exported to the EXR header

Problem summary
EXR metadata defined on /root location with the renderSettings.metadata attribute is not present in the EXR header starting from Katana 4.5v1.

Steps to reproduce
 
    1. Prepare a Katana project file using the attached file exr_File_Prman into Katana and run using RfK or use the exr_File_Arnold if you want to test it on Arnold as the render.
 
    2. Right-click on the test node and select Disk Render.
 
                                                          

 
    3. Drag the EXR file into Nuke, create a viewMetaData node, drag it onto the file, and double-click on the metadata node.
 
                                         

 
Expected behaviour
The additional EXR header metadata, shutterOpen key is present with the value -0.35 on the rendered file.
 
Actual behaviour
The additional EXR header metadata, shutterOpen key is not present with the value -0.35 on the rendered file.
 
Workaround
Currently, you can add EXR metadata if you have RfK: https://learn.foundry.com/katana/Content/ug/rendering_scene/openexr_header_metadata.html. Aside from that, there is no known way to add additional attributes to EXR files for Katana 4.5v1+ using a render different from RfK.
