Problem summary Modified Strip Widths of Fusion Item's reset to the default size when converted with Airtight Final in Modo
Customer reported version Modo 16.0v4
Customer reported platform macOS 13 Ventura
Steps to reproduce 1) Download and open the provided file in Modo. 2) Under the Fusion Item in the Items Viewport, select the Subtractive Trim under the Strips folder. 3) In the Fusion Strip tab, activate Override Defaults and under Strip Channels change the Strip Width to more than 1mm. 4) Select the Fusion Item then go to the Fusion tab and scroll to the bottom. 5) Under Output mesh, change Mesh Mode to Airtight Final w/Parts, then Select Dup & Convert to Mesh. 6) Return to the Fusion Item and observe the changes to the Fusion Strip.
Expected behavior The original Fusion Item should retain its modified Strip Widths after duplicating.
Actual behavior The original Fusion Item loses its modified Strip Widths after duplication.
Workaround A workaround for this behavior is to utilize Operators and Freeze Mesh Operations to achieve the expected results. To do so perform the following:
1) Go to the Modo Layout, thenPress 'N' to create an empty item and select it. 2) Open the Operator tab near the Item Viewport and select the Add Operator button. 3) Select a Merge Mesh Operator and add your Fusion Item as a Source to the Operator. 4) Right click on the Mesh containing the Operator, then select Freeze Mesh Operations and Duplicate and Freeze. 5) Observe how the original Fusion Item maintains its modified Strip Widths.
