Problem summary Nuke incorrectly reads dpx/transfer metadata.
Customer reported version Nuke 14.0v3
Customer reported platform CentOS 7
Steps to reproduce 1) In Nuke, add a Checkerboard and a Write node. 2) In the Write node Properties, set a file path for a .dpx extension. 3) Choose an output transform to any setting, the change the transfer knob to 'linear'. 4) Select the Render knob and create a frame. 5) Add a Read node and select the rendered frame. 6) View the output and color, then select the metadata tab. 7) Observe the dpx/transfer metadata.
Expected behavior The dpx/transfer metadata of the Read node should match that of the transfer knob after rendering.
Actual behavior The dpx/transfer metadata is only ever set for sRGB, log, or rec709. No other transfer setting is applied in the metadata of the Read node, which can inaccurately apply the color settings from the Project>Color area. The correct dpx/transfer metadata is read correctly in other software such as Media Info.
Workaround There is no available workaround at this time.
