Rendering a Stereo 3D scene with Project3D, OneView and Merge nodes in terminal mode causes frames to render as black

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Open Nuke in terminal mode with the attached script
The attached script is setup in Stereo with an image attached to a OneView node, the OneView node is attached to a Merge node that is merging a Constant node over the top and is attached to a 3D scene followed by a Write node.

2) Execute the following Python commands one by one

 

nuke.toNode("Write1").knob("views").setValue("R")

nuke.execute("Write1", 101, 101, 1, ["R"])

nuke.execute("Write1", 102, 102, 1, ["R"])

 
3) Open Nuke and read in the rendered images
 
Expected behaviour
For frames to render out with the correct image
 
Actual behaviour
The frames are rendered out black
 
Workaround
Unknown.
