Problem summary:
Nuke produces vertical artifacts when Reading certain MOV files.
This issue seems to primarily affect the Red Channel.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Download the attached ExampleFootage.MOV file and Launch Nuke.
2) Create a Read node in the Node Graph and select the downloaded file.
3) To accentuate the issue, create a ColorCorrect node and then a Sharpen node.
4) In the Properties Panel, set the ColorCorrect's contrast to 4 and gamma to 1.6:
6) Then, set the Sharpen node's amount to 10 and size to 2:
7) View the Sharpen node on Frame 597 and observe the vertical artifacts, pictured below:
8) For additional clarity, change the Viewer's Display Style to the Red Channel:
Expected behavior:
Nuke should be comparable to other applications when reading MOV files and not create artifacts.
Actual behavior:
Vertical banding artifacts are introduced into the image once it is loaded in a Read node.
Workaround:
No known workaround at this time.
