Problem summary
Client Sync Review sessions crash when importing many clips quickly
Customer reported version
nuke.14.0v4 hiero.13.2v3
Customer reported platform
centos7
Steps to reproduce
1) Copy at least 30 clip_### folders from /netshare/support/tickets/slowProject to a local drive (depending on machine, may need 100 of the folders)
2) Open Nuke Studio
3) Switch to the Sync Session workspace, then press Host, leaving the settings at default and Start
4) Open a second Nuke Studio session
5) In the second session, switch to the Sync Session workspace, then press Connect, leaving the setting at default and Connect
6) In the Host Nuke Studio session, File>Import Folder(s),navigate to where you saved the clip_### folders and press OK then import with the default filters.
7) Wait for the folders to import, the Client Nuke Studio session should crash during the import. In my testing Nuke crashed around clip_0025, but that could vary.
*If the above steps don't work, import some of the clips (around 100) before hosting the sync review session, then continue importing the folders after starting the sync session, this should also crash the client session
**Importing the clips directly from the network did not reproduce this issue, so you need to copy the files locally to be able reproduce it
Expected behaviour
For the Client Nuke Studio session to import all the folders along with the Host session
Actual behaviour
The Client session crashed
Workaround
Unknown.
Reproduced by support
This bug has been reproduced in:
Nuke Studio 14.0v4 - Windows 10, CentOS 7, macOS Monterrey
Nuke Studio 13.0v1 - Windows 10, CentOS 7
Earliest version tested
Nuke Studio 13.0v1 - Importing clips did not sync automatically before this version, so did not crash, but did not sync until pushed either.
