Follow

With certain OCIO configs and setups having rgb values set to 0, that causes the image appear black.

Customer reported version
Katana.6.0v3

Customer reported platform
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set an environment variable in your launch script to point to the attached config.ocio file.

  2. Open the attached Katana Scene file.

  3. Fully expand the Scene Graph.

  4. Make a preview render and change the check on the default monitor view to the colortest aov.

  5. Change the "mode" GSV from "work" to "broken" and render again.

Expected behaviour
When using certain OCIO configs for Katana to display the rendered AOVs correctly and for the render to not get affected by channels having rgb values set to 0.

Actual behaviour
When using certain OCIO configs, Katana causes the rendered AOVs to appear as black unless two or more channels have a higher value than 0.

Workaround
Setting the values for AOVs to anything but 0.
