ID 554606 - Nuke freezes intermittently when using a custom script

Problem summary
Nuke freezes intermittently when using a custom script.

Steps to reproduce
1) Download the attached Nuke script.
2) Launch Nuke and open the downloaded script.
3) Pan around the Node Graph and wait a few moments.
4) Enter a Group node and pan around the Node Graph.
5) Move in and out of the Group nodes and pan the Node Graph observing performance.
 
Expected behaviour
The Nuke comp should interact smoothly and be free of performance issues.
 
Actual behaviour
The Nuke comp will freeze or pause when moving in the Node Graph without any other interactions. At times, this also appears to 'refresh' the Viewer when no frames have changed. The freezing behavior can last anywhere between 8 seconds to 2 minutes or more.
 
Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
