Steps to reproduce
 
1)Type the Flix URL and add a space after it

2)Try to log in
 
Expected behaviour
The user should be able to log in or at least show a more descriptive error that there is an extra white space (before or after the URL).
 
Actual behaviour
The user gets an error message "Error: HTTP failure, generic error. Please check the logs. Failed to execute 'open' on 'XMLHttpRequest' : Invalid URL" It is not obvious to the user what the problem is. The extra space happens often when copying and pasting the URL.
 
Workaround
Check if there is a white space before and after the URL before trying to log in.
