Problem summary
The katanaBin process will continuously spam "Warning: allowing frame to continue even though render process ended uncleanly (found 'render finished' temp file)" to the render log when a Disk / Batch render occurs where a renderer plug-in writes the 'render finished' file but terminates with a non-zero exit zero, however this does not include exit codes that indicate a crash or forced termination. The resulting spam will result in the katanaBin process freezing.
Customer reported version
Katana 4.5v5
Customer reported platform
CentOS 8
Steps to reproduce
This can be reproduced by editing the Profiling Mock Renderer so that it writes the 'render finished' file and returns a non-zero exit code, or by using a different Renderer plugin that completes the same behaviours.
Expected behaviour
The error message should only be outputted once.
Actual behaviour
The error message is spammed to the logs continuously and the katanaBin process freezes.
Workaround
Unknown.
Reproduced by support
Not reproduce by support, but reproduced by the Katana Development team and is expected to affect all lines from at least Katana 3.1 onwards, up to the Katana 6.0 line.
Earliest version tested
This issue appears to be in all tested versions of the product.
