ID 542979 - Network Material Edit nodes will only display one nodes worth of promoted parameters when the connections of those nodes only pass through a Shading Group Node
Problem summary Network Material Edit nodes will only display one nodes worth of promoted parameters when the connections of those nodes only pass through a Shading Group Node. However, parameters promoted on nodes inside the Shading Group and nodes who have at least one connection stream that does not pass through a Shading Group node are unaffected by this limit.
Customer reported version Katana 6.0v2
Customer reported platform CentOs 7
Steps to reproduce
1) Open the attached Scene File or Create a Network Material Create node that contains two promoted parameters such as below:
2) Then create a Network Material Edit node and connect that downstream from the Network Material Create node
3) Now specify the created Network Material as the location for the Network Material Edit node to edit, then click Repopulate NetworkMaterialEdit
Expected behaviour Both promoted parameters appear on the Network Material Edit nodes Material Interface.
Actual behaviour Only a one of the promoted parameters appear on the Network Material Edit nodes Material Interface.
Workaround Avoid passing more than one "stream" of promoted parameters through a ShadingGroup node.
