Follow

Problem summary
When inside a Live Shading group if an input port has the same name as an output port it will cause the input port to be disconnected regardless of the nodes inside.

Customer reported version
Katana.6.0v2

Customer reported platform
CentOS7

Steps to reproduce

1) Create a NetworkMaterialCreate node.

2) Inside the NetworkMaterialCreate node, create a PxrVary and a LamaDiffuse shading node.

3) Connect the resultRGB from the PxrVary into the Color of LamaDiffuse.

4) Make the LamaDiffuse a Shading Group.

5) Make the shading group into a Live Shading Group.

6) Go inside the LiveShading group and delete the LamaDiffuse.

7) Connect the input ports to the output ports.

8) Rename the input ports name by removing the LamaDiffuse.Input at the start of the name of the input port and do the same for the corresponding output ports name.

9) Publish the Live Shading Group and save Katana.

10) Launch the previously saved Katana scene.

Expected behaviour
I expected for the Live Shading Group input connections to stay connected

Actual behaviour
The live Shading Group input connections get disconnected.
