Problem summary
Dragging an image from a Shelf into the View doesn't apply it to the Paint Through tool
As per the workaround provided, this seems to be related to the image's path.

Customer reported version
Mari 7.0v1

Customer reported platform
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce
  1. Launch Mari and open a Project

  2. Add an image to a Shelf

  3. Drag the image to the View

Expected behaviour
The Paint Through tool should be activated, and it should be using the image dragged in.

Actual behaviour
Nothing happens.

Workaround
  1. Close Mari.

  2. Navigate to your configuration folder and open your shelf's file, such as C:\Users\user\.mari\TheFoundry\Shelves\MyShelf.msh

  3. Open your .msh file in a text editor.

  4. For each image in the Shelf, replace
    ActionType="Mari/MriImagePath" Badge="" Data="C:/path/to/MyImage.jpg"

    With
    ActionType="Mari/MriImage" Badge="" Data="(Path)C:/path/to/MyImage.jpg"

  5. Save the .msh file.

  6. Open Mari.

  7. Successfully drag images to to the Viewport.
