Invalid ShadingNode connections are silently ignored when recreating a networkMaterial via NetworkMaterialEdit

Steps to reproduce
1) In Katana, open the attached project file: Erroring NME.katana
2) View the original NetworkMaterial via the NMC node, observe the current connections.
3) View the NME node after hitting Repopulate in the Parameters tab and observe the missing connection with no reported error.
Expected behaviour
An error displayed to inform the user of an invalid connection before not making the connection.
Actual behaviour
The connection is silently ignored with no error reporting.
