ID 533228 - [S] ToAvid: MOVs are not embedded in AAFs generated by Flix

Follow

Problem summary:
MOVs are not embedded in AAFs generated by Flix

Customer reported version:
Flix 6.5.1

Customer reported platform:
macOS 12 Monterey

Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a panel in SBP that has a Layer transformation/animation.
2) Import the SBP project into Flix.
3) Publish the Sequence to Avid, with the Publish with Camera Move option set to "PNG with 3D Warp".
4) Open Avid and import the generated AAF.

Alternative steps:
1) Create a panel in SBP that has a Camera move.
2) Import the SBP project into Flix.
3) Publish the Sequence to Avid, with the Publish with Camera Move option set to "MOV".
4) Open Avid and import the generated AAF.

Expected behavior:
The Panel should be embedded in the AAF as a MOV with all of its animation.

Actual behavior:
When the AAF is loaded into Avid, the Panel is not correctly animated.

If the Panel has a combination of Camera moves and Layer transformations, the PNG with 3D Warp option may retain the Camera move, but not the Layer transformations. When the MOV option is used instead (such as when Use Flix Timing is disabled), the Panel in Avid will be still and without any animation.

Workaround:
Please update to Flix 6.6.1 or above to resolve this issue.
