Problem summary
Black artifacts appear when rendering normal map files using mPath with NVIDIA CUDA and NVIDIA Optix.

Steps to reproduce
1) Download the example scene file.
2) Confirm that the Render item is set to mPath.
3) Ensure the Ray Tracing Engine is set to NVIDIA OptiX and the Shading Engine is set to NVIDIA CUDA.
4) Render the scene file.
Expected behaviour
Rendered result should not contain any artifacts.
Actual behaviour
Black Artifacts appears in the resulting render.
Workaround
Using a different Shading Engine or Ray Tracing Engine should avoid this issue.
