ID 562283 - The YCbCr Matrix knob does not have any effect when Reading certain MOV codecs

Follow

Problem summary:
The YCbCr Matrix knob does not have any effect when Reading certain MOV codecs

This only appears to impact MOV footage encoded with the Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD, or Avid DNxHR codecs.

Customer reported version:
Nuke 15.0v2

Customer reported platform:
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke and create a ColorBars node in the Node Graph.
2) Create a Write node, and set its Codec to Apple ProRes
3) Create a second Write node, and set its Codec to H.264

4) Render both Write nodes, and Read the prores.mov and h264.mov files back into Nuke.
5) In the prores.mov Read node's Properties, switch the YCbCr Matrix knob between Rec 709 and Rec 601.
6) Observe how the resulting image does not change, unlike the behavior of the H.264 MOV file:

Expected behavior:
When working with any YCbCr-based MOV codecs, it should be possible to switch the color matrix between Rec 709 and Rec 601 with the Read node's YCbCr Matrix knob.

Actual behavior:
If MOV footage has not been encoded with the H.264, Motion JPEG A, Motion JPEG B, MPEG-4, Photo - JPEG, or Uncompressed codecs, changing the Read node's YCbCr Matrix knob does not affect the resulting image.

Although the YCbCr Matrix knob will automatically be set to "Rec 601" when Reading formats with a width below 840 pixels and "Rec 709" for formats with a width of 840 pixels or above (as expected), switching between the two color matrices still does not produce any changes for the Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD, or Avid DNxHR codecs.
