Problem summary Mari 7.0v1 Windows installer doesn't have digital signature, as it wasn't code-signed
Customer reported version Mari 7.0v1
Customer reported platform Windows 11
Steps to reproduce
Download Mari 7.0v1's Windows Installer from the following page: Download Mari
Extract the .zip folder
Execute the Mari7.0v1-win-x86-release-64 installer inside the extracted folder
Expected behaviour As with Mari 6.0v2, Windows should ask the user if he wishes to continue with the installation and display Verified Publisher: The Foundry Visionmongers LTD
Actual behaviour Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevents Mari from being installed. No publisher information is found so Windows considers Mari to be an unsafe application. The user can still install Mari by selecting More Info > Run anyway.
Workaround Users with security concerns can confirm that they have the correct Mari 7.0v1 installer by checking its SHA-252. It should match the following: E614A66EB5E316A8E4093A4DBD79F41392694742B9AEAC9C1ACBCC4AA34F4603
