ID 552110 - Node Attributes are enforcing slider ranges when edited with the arrow keys or the mouse

Follow

Problem summary

Node Attributes are enforcing slider ranges when edited with arrow keys or the mouse

E.g. Constant node does not allow you to go above 1.0 when hitting the up key. Previous versions allowed this.

This seems to affect Attributes using the Double Node Attribute Type

Customer reported platform
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Constant node and open its Node Properties.
  2. Place the caret to the left of the Constant value.
  3. Press the Up arrow key a few times, and notice the Constant attribute does not go higher than 1.0.

Expected behaviour

The value should be allowed to go above 1.0 and below 0.0.

Actual behaviour

The value is limited to the slider's range.

Workaround

Typing a number outside the range and hitting Enter works as expected.
