ID 584438 - The Viewer Buffer switches to A after changing the Active Version of a Bin Item in the B Buffer

Follow

Problem summary:
The Viewer Buffer switches to A after changing the Active Version of a Bin Item in the B Buffer

Customer reported version:
Nuke Studio N/A

Customer reported platform:
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke Studio and navigate to File > Import File(s)...
2) Import two Clips, each with at least two versions.
3) Drag and drop Version 1 of each Clip from the Project Bin into the Viewer's A and B Buffers.
4) Select the B Buffer in the Viewer Info Bar and press the "V" key to open the Versions Menu.
5) Change the Clip's Version, and observe how the A Buffer becomes active:

Expected behavior:
When changing a Clip's Version, the currently selected Buffer should remain active until it is changed by the user.

Actual behavior:
If a new Version is selected from the Version Menu while the B Buffer is active, the Viewer's current Buffer will switch and be reset to the A Buffer. This means continuing to change the Clip's Version will cause the Clip in the A Buffer will be replaced.

Workaround:
No known workaround at this time.
