Nested Assemblies do not save as expected when creating an Assembly Preset.

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Download the attached file and open it in Modo.

2) Navigate to Layout > Layouts > Setup.

3) In the Schematic use RMB on the "BorgCube" then select Save As Assembly Preset > Save Preset.
 
4) Close the file, then drag and drop the saved Assembly Preset into the Schematic and observe the results. 
 
Expected behavior
Nested Assemblies should save to an Assembly Preset.
 
Actual behavior
Nested Assemblies do not save to an Assembly Preset.
 
Workaround
Unknown.

Modo 16.1v8 - This issue doesn't appear in this version and has regressed.
