Base Shader does not revert to default settings after removing Render Pass Groups

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo. Navigate to the
Render viewport tab at the top.
2) Select
New next to the Pass Groups option. Create and name a new pass group, and select
OK.
3) Select
New next to the Passes option. Create and name a new pass, and select
OK.
4) Under the
Shading tab, select
Base Shader.
5) In the
Properties tab to the right hand side of the viewport, under
Visibility, toggle
Cast Shadows off.
6) Navigate back up to the
Passes option. Change from your named pass to
(none).
Expected behaviour
The Cast Shadows toggle, in the properties of the Base Shader, should toggle back on as default.
Actual behaviour
The Cast Shadows toggle stays off.
