Problem summary:
A ConnectError occurs frequently in Maya if the Flix Maya Extension is installed and Flix is not open
Customer reported version:
Flix 7.0.1
Customer reported platform:
N/A
Steps to reproduce:
1) On a machine with Maya installed, open the Flix Client and navigate to Extensions > Local Extension Manager.
2) Ensure that the Flix Maya Extension is installed.
3) Close the Flix Client and launch Maya.
4) Open the Maya Script Editor (Windows > General Editors > Script Editor) and observe the following errors: Error: flix.extension.client : could not connect to client, waiting 10 seconds before retrying... (ConnectError: All connection attempts failed)

Expected behavior:
The Flix Maya Extension should not constantly produce errors in Maya if the Flix Client cannot be reached.
Actual behavior:
If the Flix Client is not accessible, the Flix Maya Extension will continuously attempt to connect to it, resulting in a ConnectError every ten seconds.
Even if the Flix Maya Extension's Loaded and Auto Load options are disabled in Maya (Windows > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager > flix_maya_plugin), these settings will be reset and the errors will occur again the next time Maya is launched:

Workaround:
No known workaround at this time.
