ID 583392 - Image Backdrops are not visible when using the X-Ray Transparency Overlay in Orthographic Projections

Problem summary
Image Backdrops are not visible when using the X-Ray Transparency Overlay in Orthographic Projections

Customer reported version
Modo 17.0v7

Customer reported platform
Windows 11

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Modo. Create two primitives (eg. two spheres, perhaps a Globe and a Quadball to differentiate).

2) Load in any image as an Backdrop Item.

3) In the Backdrop Properties, set the Projection Type to Front. Also, enable Show In Perspective.

4) Ensure the Backdrop Item is positioned in a way so that it intersects the two meshes.

5) Set the Orthographic Projection to Front.

6) Turn the X-Ray Transparency Overlay on.

Expected behaviour
You should be able to see the two meshes intersect, as well as the Backdrop Item 'inside' the meshes.

Actual behaviour
You can only see the two meshes intersect, and not the Backdrop Item.

Workaround
Unknown.
