ID 583902 - The `stop()` Render plug-in function is not called on cancellation of a Preview/Disk Render

Problem summary:

The `stop()` Render plug-in function is  not called when terminating a Preview/Disk Render

Steps to reproduce:

Using a Renderer plug-in that implements the `stop()` Render plug-in function, start a Preview or Disk Render and cancel it during the rendering phase (after `start()` has been called).

Expected behaviour:

The `stop()` Render plug-in function is called prior to termination.

Actual behaviour:

The `stop()` Render plug-in function is not called prior to termination.

Workaround:

No known workaround.
