Steps to reproduce
 
1) Download the USD Moana Island Scene from here and the example scene attached.

2) Update the UsdIn node paths to match your file system.

3) Start a Live Render from the RenderSettings node. 
 
4) While the Live Render is rendering, open the Material_ui nodes Parameters tab (e) and open a large set of subtrees.
 
5) Collapse and expand a top level group (MATERIALS/Material1/Hair1).
 
6) Observe how the groups collapse and expand in a slower and unexpected manner.
 
Expected behaviour
The groups should collapse and expand quickly and efficiently.
 
Actual behaviour
When the groups collapse and expand they do so in an unexpected manner causing slower performance overall.

Unknown.
