ID 583310 - Dragging an image file into the Image Manager doesn't display the "Loading Images" progress bar in the Status Bar

Problem summary
Dragging an image file into the Image Manager doesn't display the "Loading Images" progress bar in the Status Bar.
 
This makes it seem like Mari has frozen, specially when dragging in many or heavy images.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Mari and open any Project, such as the Example Project.
    
2. Open the Image Manager palette.
    
3. From your OS' File Explorer, choose an image file and drag it into Mari's Image Manager palette.

 
 
Expected behaviour
The Loading Images progress bar should appear in the Status Bar, like it does when you use Image Manager > right-click > Open > Open an Image dialog instead of dragging in from your OS' File Explorer.
 

 
 
Actual behaviour
Nothing changes in the Status Bar, so that Mari appears to be frozen.
