Follow

Problem summary
The Roto node has a BeginGroup/EndGroup knob with no name. This means that, unlike other knobs of the same type, it cannot be accessed via Python.

Customer reported version
Nuke 15.0v4

Customer reported platform
Windows 11

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke.

2) Create a Roto node.

3) Hover over the black arrow/triangle and notice that it doesn't have a name.

Expected behaviour
You can access the extra matrix knob on the Transform tab:

For example, to set its default value:

nuke.knobDefault("Roto.extra matrix", "True")

So the behaviour should be consistent with knobs of this type.

Actual behaviour
The knob has no name, so cannot be accessed via Python.

Workaround
Unknown.
