ID 583805 - Pasting polygons does not automatically highlight them

Problem summary
Pasted polygons are not highlighted when selected.

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Open Modo. Create a primitive cube.

2) Enter polygon mode. Double click on the cube to select all the polygons.

3) Copy the polygons (Ctrl+C) and paste them (Ctrl+V). 
 
Expected behaviour
The new cube should be highlighted.
 
Actual behaviour
The new cube has no highlight.
 
Workaround
Unknown.
