Users can not enter a show with a trailing whitespace in its name

Steps to reproduce
 
1)Create a show and add a blank character after the show name.

2)Add a group the user is a member of to the show groups (or make sure the user is an admin).

3)Try to enter the newly created show
 
Expected behaviour
The user should be able to enter the show
 
Actual behaviour
The user gets an error asking to reload the application.
 
Workaround
Change the show name and remove the trailing whitespace
