ID 591474 - Baking a Multi-Channel Bake Point node while Viewing and Selecting a node downstream results in a blank/checked texture in the Viewer.

Problem summary
Baking a Multi-Channel Bake Point node while Viewing and Selecting a node downstream results in a blank/checked texture in the Viewer. It appears that there needs to be a Multi Channel Merge node in the stream at some stage. This has been tested with the MCM node both downstream and upstream of the MCBP, and the issue occurs either way.

Customer reported version
Mari 7.0v2

Customer reported platform
Rocky 8

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Mari. Create an Example Project or open a project that has a Multi Channel Merge node.

2) Insert a Multi-Channel Bake Point in the Node Stream.

3) Select a downstream node (eg. Base Color Channel) and View it.

4) Select the MCBP node so that the Properties show the MCBP properties. Then select the downstream node that you're viewing.

5) Select "Bake Active" in the Node Properties.

Expected behaviour
The texture in the Canvas should show the data that is being viewed.

Actual behaviour
The Canvas shows a blank/checked texture instead, until you View another node and re-View the original downstream node.
