Problem summary:
H264 Codec Profile setting is not saved inside Nuke Studio/Hiero Export Presets
Customer reported version:
Hiero N/A
Customer reported platform:
macOS 13
Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke Studio, then navigate to File > Import File(s)... and select some footage.
2) Right-Click the Clip and select the Export... option.
3) Duplicate one of the existing Presets and open the "Transcode Images" Content.
4) Set the File Type to mov, Codec to H.264, and Codec Profile to Main 4:2:0 8-bit
5) Click the Close button, and when prompted press Yes to save the Export Preset's changes.
6) Open the Export window again, and observe how the Codec Profile for the Preset has not been saved and is reset to High 4:2:0 8-bit
Expected behavior:
Saving an Export Preset should retain all of the selected options.
Actual behavior:
When an Export Preset is set to the H.264 Codec, the Codec Profile selection is not stored or saved inside the Preset and will always be set to High 4:2:0 8-bit
Workaround:
Besides manually adding <mov_h264_codec_profile valuetype="str">Main 4:2:0 8-bit</mov_h264_codec_profile> to the preset XML, there are no known workarounds at this time.
