Steps to reproduce
 
1)Open the Avid preferences and update the Time In value to a timecode, for example, 00:00:00:00 

 
 
Expected behaviour
The Time In value should not allow special characters or a timecode value and give an error or not allow that value to be set.
 
Actual behaviour
The timecode value was accepted by Flix.
