Steps to reproduce
 
1) Place the attached init.py file in the StartUp folder of your .katana directory. C:\Users\[UserName]\.katana\StartUp by default.

2) Create and save a test scene to render and ensure the CustomVariableSet node is created and directly upstream of the Render node.

3) Batch render the created test scene and observe the command prompt reporting any found ROI's with the value [0,0,0,0]
 
Expected behaviour
No region of interest should be detected in Batch mode
 
Actual behaviour
Sometimes the region of interest will return an IntAttribute with a [0,0,0,0] value. 
 
Workaround
Unknown.
