ID 588698 - Text and Burn-In Soft Effects applied at the Clip/Shot level are blurry when reformatted to larger Sequence resolutions

Follow

Problem summary:
Text and Burn-In Soft Effects applied at the Clip/Shot level are blurry when reformatted to larger Sequence resolutions

Customer reported version:
Nuke Studio N/A

Customer reported platform:
N/A

Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke Studio, navigate to File > Import File(s)... and select some footage, like the attached test_image.exr

2) Add the Clip to a new Sequence, then Right-click and navigate to Open In > Timeline View
3) Create a Burn-In Soft Effect:

4) Switch back to the Sequence Viewer, open the Properties tab, and set the Track Item's Clip Reformat to Sequence Resolution

5) In the Sequence tab, set the Output Resolution to something that is larger than the media imported at step 1, and observe how the Burn-In is not displayed with the correct level of detail:

Expected behavior:
Burn-In and Text Soft Effects created at the Shot/Clip level should use the same image filtering as the original media, and be displayed with precision in the Sequence Viewer.

Actual behavior:
When a Clip's original format is smaller than the Sequence Output Resolution and it contains a Text or Burn-In Soft Effect, reformatting the Clip to the Sequence Resolution will cause the Soft Effect's text to become blurry.

Prior to Nuke Studio 14.1v1, the text could also become separated from its background, see bug 481713:

Workaround:
This issue does not occur if the Text or Burn-In Soft Effect is created at the Sequence level instead of the Clip/Shot level.
