Problem summary:
MXF files exported at certain resolutions produce skewed images
Customer reported version:
Nuke 16.0v1
Customer reported platform:
Windows 10
Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke and create a CheckerBoard node in the Node Graph
2) Create a Reformat node, and set the type knob to "to box"
3) Enable the force this shape knob, and set the width and height to 900:
4) Create a Write node and render a MXF file
5) Read the MXF back into Nuke and observe the visual artifacts:
Expected behavior:
MXF files should be created without any visual artifacts, regardless of the resolution/format.
Actual behavior:
When certain resolutions are used, MXF files created by Nuke will have visual artifacts and be skewed considerably.
Starting with 14.1v1, Nuke's behavior is slightly different and even some standard resolutions like 512x512 will not be created correctly. In these cases a DNx Error -1005 : 'The value specified is invalid' error will appear in the Terminal:
Workaround:
Besides using a more standard resolution, there is no known workaround at this time.
