Timeline editing track selection tools don't work if the clip is auto/soft selected

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Open Nuke Studio/Hiero

2) Import some footage and add it to the timeline, so you have multiple clips in the same track

3) Move the playhead over one of the clips
 
4) Activate any of the track selection tools, like Select Track to Left or Select All in Track
 
5) Click on any of the non-auto/soft selected clips, the tool works as expected
 
6) Click on the auto/soft selected clip under the playhead, the tool stops working and only selects the single clip
 
Expected behaviour
For multiple clips in the track to be selected when using the track selection tools
 
Actual behaviour
If a clip is auto/soft selected, the tool stops working and only selects a single clip
 


 
Workaround
Disable auto-selection in preferences, Edit > Preferences > Timeline > Auto-selection mode enabled
