Problem summary:
LensDistortion lines are inconsistently snapped to the origin if the mouse is moved
Customer reported version:
Nuke 13.2v8
Customer reported platform:
macOS 14
Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Nuke and create a CheckerBoard node in the Node Graph
2) Create a LensDistortion node, and View it
3) Select the Add Lines tool in the Viewer, or from the LensDistortion's Analysis tab in its Properties
4) Click in the Viewer to create the first point, then click and drag to create a second point
5) Observe Nuke's performance:
Expected behavior:
Lines in a LensDistortion node should always smoothly follow the cursor's position, as was the case in previous versions of Nuke:
Actual behavior:
When creating a Line in a LensDistortion node, the point can be snapped to the origin (0,0) instead of the cursor's current location. This seems to occur most frequently when clicking and dragging, but this can also happen when quickly creating multiple points.
Workaround:
Besides ensuring that the Left Mouse Button has been completely released before the cursor is moved, there is no known workaround at this time.
