ID 608144 - Double-clicking a comp container in the timeline, in workspaces without the Node Graph open, makes the Node Graph and Viewer floating panels instead of switching to the Compositing Workspace

Problem summary
Double-clicking on a comp container in the timeline, while in any workspace that does not already have the Node Graph open, causes the Node Graph and the Viewer to become floating panels instead of switching to the Compositing Workspace.

Steps to reproduce
 
  1. Launch Nuke Studio.
     
  2. Click on Start a new Project.
     
  3. Click on File->Import File(s).
     
  4. Select a video clip. It will be visible in the Project panel.
     
  5. Drag and drop the imported clip into the timeline in the Sequence panel at the bottom.
     
  6. Select the clip in the timeline, right-click and select Create Comp -> Create Comp.
     
  7. Choose the destination folder and click Open. You will see a container on the timeline representing the comp you've just created.
     
  8. Select Workspace->Editing.
     
  9. Double-click on the comp container in the timeline.
 
Expected behaviour
When double-clicking on a comp container in the timeline, while in any workspace that does not already have the Node Graph open, it should switch to the Compositing Workspace rather than causing the Node Graph and Viewer to become floating panels.
 
Actual behaviour
When you double-click on a comp container in the timeline while in a workspace that doesn’t have the Node Graph open, the Node Graph and Viewer turn into floating panels instead of switching to the Compositing Workspace.
