ID 611149 - Particles do not show in the 3D Viewer if they are emitted from geometry with an animated texture

Follow

Problem summary
Particles do not show in the 3D Viewer if they are emitted from geometry with an animated texture.

Customer reported version
Nuke 15.2v4

Customer reported platform
Ubuntu

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke.

2) Open the attached script.
The script emits particles (spheres) with an animated Noise texture. This is then converted to geo, which then emits its own particle sprites:

3) View the last ParticleEmitter node in the script and playback the frame range.
If you add a FrameHold downstream of the Noise, then the issue does not seem to happen.

Expected behaviour
All of the particles should be displayed in the 3D Viewer.

Actual behaviour
No particles, or only some of the particles are displayed, unless the animation from the Noise node is removed or a FrameHold is applied to it.

Workaround
Unknown.
