Unable to pan in the Node Graph using Middle mouse button or Ctrl+Shift+MMB when Control Type is set to Mari

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Mari and open any project.
     
  2. Set the Node Graph's Control Type to Mari.
    Edit > Preferences > Node Graph > General > Control Type > Mari
     
  3. Try to pan the Node graph using either MMB or Ctrl+Shift+MMB.
 
Expected behaviour
Panning.
 
Actual behaviour
Nothing happens.
 
Workaround
Use the Control Type default setting, Nuke, to have access to these shortcuts

Mari 7.1v2 - Windows 10 - Rocky 9
Mari 7.1v1 - Windows 10 - Rocky 9 - Regression
 
Unable to reproduce bug in:
Mari 7.0v2 
 
Earliest version tested
Mari 7.0v2 - This issue doesn't appear in this version and has regressed
