Problem summary Nuke crashes when running specific Python code from the Tab menu.
Customer reported version Nuke 16.0v6
Customer reported platform macOS 15
Steps to reproduce 1) Copy the attached script.py code. 2) In Nuke, open the Script Editor and paste/run the copied code. 3) Add a Write node to the Node Graph. 3) With the Write node selected, press Tab on the keyboard. 4) In the Tab menu, type 'test' and run the command.
Expected behavior The code should finalize and allow the user to continue using the software after clearing any prompts.
Actual behavior When clearing the final message, the Nuke application crashes and displays the Crash Reporter dialog prompt.
Workaround Running the code from the Script Editor, a shortcut, or toolbar menu item does not cause the software to crash.
