Resizing a backdrop leaves a white trace

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open example project 
2. Resize a backdrop to a less than the original size
3. Move it around

Expected behaviour:

Should resize accordingly and leave no white artifacts 

Actual behaviour:

Resizing leaves a white trace 

Workaround:

No known workaround.
