ID 609720 - Exporting sequences with Quick Export uses a lot of memory

Follow

Problem summary
Exporting sequences with Quick Export uses a lot of memory, especially compared to the standard export system.

Customer reported version
Nuke 16.0v4

Customer reported platform
N/A

Steps to reproduce

1) Launch Nuke Studio.

2) Import a clip (File > Import File(s)...) and drop it on the timeline.

3) Right click the Sequence in the bin view > Export.

4) In the Export dialog, set the export path, and press Export. All settings can be left at default.

5) Observe the memory usage reported in Nuke Studio while the sequence is being exported.

6) Repeat this test with the standard Export system, exporting the sequence as a ProRes 4:4:4:4 XQ 12-bit (the default for Quick Export).

Expected behaviour
Quick Export should not use significantly more memory to export the same thing as the standard export system.

Actual behaviour
Quick Export uses significantly more memory to export. The longer the exported sequence, the more RAM it seems to use.

Workaround
Unknown.
