When using a large amount of files through a particle emitter, Nuke crashes after hitting the open file handles limit on Windows 11

Steps to reproduce
 
1) Open Nuke and the attached scene, the scene has multiple image sequences piped through a particle emitter and then a 3D scene.

2) Move the noodles, one by one from the 100 frame image sequences to the 628 frame image sequences.

3) Nuke will eventually crash.
 
Expected behaviour
For Nuke to be able to handle the amount of open files.
 
Actual behaviour
Nuke encounters the open file handle limit and crashes.

Unknown.

NukeX 16.0v7 - Windows 11
NukeX 14.0v1 - Windows 11
NukeX 13.0v1 - Windows 11
 
Unable to reproduce bug in:
NukeX 16.0v7 - macOS 15.5 - Rocky 9 (Rocky displays "Too many open files error" instead of crashing)
NukeX 14.0v1 - macOS 15.5 - Rocky 9
 
Earliest version tested
NukeX 13.0v1 - This issue appears to be in all tested versions of the product
